1."Pulsed antennas" (with C.H. Papas), IEEE Trans Antennas Propagat., AP 22, 651-661, 1974. The first paper on transient radiation, very innovative at that time.
5. “Fractal Models for Scattering from Natural Surfaces” (with A. Iodice, D. Riccio), in
“Scattering” (Eds. R.Pike and P. Sabatier), 467-485, Academic Press, 2001. This paper is the last one allowing him to get the Gold Medal from the Italian President of Republic for his scientific contributions.
6.“Timed arrays in a nutshell”(with J. Tatoian, G. Gibbs), IEEE Trans. Antennas Propagat.,53, 4073- 4082, 2005. This paper is the last one allowing him to get the 2007 IEEE GRS-S Distinguished Achievement Award: “For outstanding research in Electromagnetics, Propagation, Remote Sensing and Information Data Processing”.
7. “SAR Processing Techniques”, G. Franceschetti and R. Lanari, CRC Publisher, USA, 1999.
8. “Scattering, natural surfaces and fractals”, G. Franceschetti and D. Riccio, Academic Press, USA, 2007.
9. “Homeland Security Technology challenges. From sensing and encrypting to mining and modeling”, G. Franceschetti and M. Grossi Eds., Artech House, 2008. |
